What do the numbers under the Bars represent?

· This is the satellite Pseudo Random Number (PRN) -- this is the mechanism to ID the satellite

 

What do the numbers in the Bars represent?

· Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR) -- this is how well you are receiving the signal from the satellite

 

What does the height of a Bar represent?

· Height is the SNR where 20's is low, 30's is good, 40's is very good

 

There are Blue Bars and Dark Blue Bars. What does the Dark Blue represent?

· The blue bars show which satellite is being used for the navigation solution.
· The dark shows that the satellite is being tracked, but not used for solution.

 

What are the "keys" in the lower left of the Bar graph region?

· The "key" in the lower left shows what VisualGPS View has seen (GPS, WAAS, and GLONAS).

· PRN Numbers: GPS = 1 to 32, WAAS = 33 - 64, GLONAS = 65 - 96.
